Strategic and Financial Partner for Founders, Boards and Venture Capital Investors

Helping startups and scale-ups achieve financial clarity and turn it into strategic execution, from fundraising and due diligence through to post-raise growth.

Longhouse Global works with companies from Seed to Series B+ to bridge the gap between finance, strategy and growth.

We act as a sparring partner to founders and investors, combining hands-on execution with an investor’s perspective to help companies prepare, raise and scale with confidence.

We work selectively with a small number of ventures and investors each year, focusing on engagements where hands-on strategic and financial guidance can make a material difference to outcomes.

We bring three main core areas of value to a company and its board

1. Strategic Growth and Financial Planning

Building the financial clarity and strategic direction that drive confident decision-making and investor trust.

  • Shape product–market fit and develop scalable business models

  • Design practical go-to-market (GTM) strategies and growth plans

  • Create cap tables, financial models and scenario analyses that link numbers to strategy

  • Manage budgets, cash flow and working-capital planning

  • Align finance, operations and technology to support scale

  • Provide sparring-partner input that connects strategic vision with investor expectations

2. Investor Relations and Fundraising Support

Fundraising can consume hundreds of founder hours. I help teams bring structure and investor discipline to the process, reducing wasted effort and the internal cost of time diverted from building the business.

  • Develop tailored funding strategies without success fees

  • Build compelling investor narratives and pitch materials

  • Act as a “devil’s advocate” through Q&A and mock investor sessions

  • Prepare due-diligence materials and structure data-room readiness

  • Identify and prioritise investors by sector, stage and fit

  • Support ongoing investor communication and reporting, translating internal progress into investor-ready updates

3. Board Advisory, NED, and Venture Partnering

Independent perspective and venture experience to strengthen governance, alignment and execution.

  • Serve as a Non-Executive Director (NED) or board advisor for strategic oversight

  • Provide venture-partner input on sourcing, evaluation and portfolio management

  • Support fund structuring, investment processes and KPI frameworks

  • Guide founders and leadership teams through strategic decisions and board preparation

  • Offer one-to-one coaching on conflict resolution, self-awareness, performance and accountability

About

Hello, my name is Eduardo Paperini

  • LinkedIn

I am a Fractional CFO, strategic adviser and former venture capital investor with more than 13 years of experience across venture capital, consulting and M&A in Europe and Latin America.

My work focuses on helping startups and scale-ups build financial clarity and strategic direction. I support companies through fundraising, due diligence and post-raise execution.

Before founding Longhouse Global, I spent several years in venture capital, analysing investments and supporting portfolio companies. I also worked in consulting and M&A, advising technology and industrial clients on strategy, valuation and growth. I also held operational and leadership roles within startups, giving me first-hand experience of what it takes to scale teams, systems and products from the inside.

Having worked on both the investor and operator sides, I understand how funds assess opportunities and how to align numbers, narrative and operations to create confidence with investors and boards.

I am not a traditional CFO focused purely on reporting or compliance. My approach sits at the intersection of strategy, finance and execution, acting as a sparring partner to founders and investors.

The Meaning Behind Longhouse

Longhouses have long been central to many cultures around the world, serving as communal spaces where families lived, worked and supported one another under a single roof. They were more than buildings; they represented unity, collaboration and shared purpose.

At Longhouse Global, we embrace the same principles of community, partnership and collective success. Just as traditional longhouses brought people together, our mission is to connect founders, investors and organisations across the venture ecosystem.

Our work, spanning strategic growth and financial planning, investor relations and fundraising support, and board advisory and venture partnering, is built on trust, collaboration and shared outcomes. Like the longhouses of the past, Longhouse Global provides a space where experience and resources come together to help everyone under our roof succeed.
